Safety & Quality
Safety and quality are particularly important to AEM Ireland. By law, all automatic gates, doors, and barrier systems need to be forced tested and certified for proper use. We carry out force tests as a service to allow for compliance and to ensure all gates meet the required safety regulations. If gates do not meet the standard regulations, then the required safety equipment is fitted to bring them up to compliance.
Regarding old gates, we fit safety devices to bring them up to the EN 12453 Safety Standards requirements. All the equipment is low voltage, and all our systems have built-in technology which allows us to set up any system large or small to meet the required EN 12453 Safety Standards.
Automatic Doors are legally required to be serviced annually to EN16005 specifications to verify they are safe and secure. The EN16005 is the standard that all automatic and powered doors should adhere to and states that professionally trained engineers should regularly service automatic doors.
